Overview

Tulpie is a market management solution tailored to Cottage/Christmas markets. The purpose of Tulpie is to manage markets, allow your market vendors to label products and of course for the market to log sales on the days that the market is open. Tulpie will also automatically calculate your total revenue, profit, and the cut that needs to be paid out to your vendors. Vendors in turn can see what their revenue is, what they are contributing to the market, and what they will get from you at the end. This all happens in real time as the transactions come in, you don't even need to refresh the browser!

Tulpie is designed around a single point of sale, meaning your vendors bring their labeled products and you sell them while taking a percentage of their revenue.

Components

Tulpie consists of different components that different people will use. These components all have a different purpose.

These components will all lock access to users that have not been signed up for that component.

1. Administration Dashboard

The Tulpie administration dashboard is where market organizers will spend most, if not all, of their time. On this dashboard you can register vendors, add other administrators, manage payment methods, and point of sales accounts. This dashboard is always accessible and is changed to read-only after the market has closed. You will always be able to come back and look at the revenue for a market.

The administration dashboard is available as a website and an Android app.

2. Vendor Dashboard

The vendor dashboard is where all of your market vendors will be able to load their products, get their labels, and see all of their sales. This also happens in real time.

If someone is not registered as a vendor in any market, they will not be able to see anything.

The vendor dashboard is only available as a website.

3. Point of Sales

This component is used to scan the labels generated by vendors, and registering sales of those products. This component only works if the logged in email address is registered as a "Point of sale account" on the administration dashboard and the market is currently open (specified by start and end dates).
